I finally forced myself to make time for this project and I am so glad that I did. It took roughly 2 months, a ridiculously large number of hours, and distracted me from all of my regular art projects. This started out as an eraser mini print I created in 2021 or 2022. I have always wanted to turn it into a larger full color piece. The goal was to use mostly translucent layers to get a glazed oil painting effect. I love how this turned out and think there are several areas where the glazed oil effect came to fruition.
This is a pretty small print run with 12 in the main limited edition and 3 in the gold version. The colors are much more vibrant in person, I have really struggled to get the vibrancy to photograph well. Each original print will come with vinyl sticker of the piece and shipping will start as soon as prints are dry enough to safely travel (likely around May 26th or later.)
Blue Edition - 15 Layers, Edition size of 7
Gold Edition - 16 Layers, Edition size of 8

I intentionally let some textures and prior layer colors remain in the salty background. This means each print in the edition has some unique and subtle variations to the colors that shine in the light. There are also some small marks in the border on some pieces that are considered a part of the process due to the sheer number of layers and a mistake.
If there is a lot of interest I will look into giclee reproductions. Stickers will be available for purchase outside of the limited editions later this month.
